Too often as Americans we simply want to pop a pill for our high blood pressure or other ailments without giving our bodies the chance to correct the issue through proper diet. The statement "you are what you eat" holds very true within our bodies, and when you put unhealthy foods in you create an unhealthy body made of unhealthy cells. You can eat healthy foods, even if you are always on the run, but it takes the right preparation and knowledge.

The last piece of the triad is chiropractic. Chiropractic is a natural, drug-free, and holistic healthcare that focuses on the entire body. Chiropractic is based on the science that your nervous system controls and coordinates every function in your body from cells, to muscles, to tissues, and organs. Your nervous system acts as a computer and is made up of the brain, spinal cord and nerves that go to every part of your body. Chemical (food, drugs, etc), emotional (stress) and physical stressors (sleep, work, school, fitness) are put on your body every day and can affect it negatively. When the body can no longer handle and recover from these stressors by itself, a misalignment will occur in the spine. That misalignment is a small thing when it first happens, but if left uncorrected it cuts off the life energy from the brain to the body, leaving that part of the body working at less than 100%. If this process continues, the entire body works at less than its full potential which will begin to create symptoms like pain, sickness, muscle spasms, headaches, etc. With a simple, gentle chiropractic adjustment, the energy is released, and healing can now take place. When the nervous system works better, all systems in the body work better which allows each person to experience their full potential.

When chiropractic is added into people’s lifestyles of fitness and healthy eating, many experience a new level of health and wellness because their body was not working at 100%.
