I am not just a chiropractor... I am a business owner and a Detective!

I knew I wanted to be a Doctor of Chiropractic since I was fifteen when I injured my elbow as an elite gymnast. I was unable to do gymnastics for six months and had tried many doctors and therapies to help my injury and nothing had worked. A teammate suggested trying chiropractic, and I was back to gymnastics in two weeks after getting a chiropractic adjustment.
After being a chiropractor for a few years, I expanded my wellness center by becoming a Wellness Way Affiliate. My husband is a former firefighter and fire investigator that has struggled with chronic sinus issues as long as I have known him. He had three sinus surgeries and lost his smell and taste completely for about two years. Throughout my chiropractic career, I have used many different things to help him but they have all been temporary. By using The Wellness Way approach, I tested him with the proper labs and I was able to see exactly what was causing his sinus issues. For him, it was a liver, gut and immune system issue. We have worked together to heal and rebuild his body over the past two years and his smell and taste returned once we started the healing process.
Like my husband, there are so many people dealing with serious health issues that do not have good answers. These people have been to 6 different specialists, had all the advanced testing, tried all the medications, tried all the natural remedies, and still feel the same. This is why I am so passionate about The Wellness Way approach because of the clinical results, we get people like this every day.
Owning a growing business is hard work. Growth in any business is good, and when your business grows, you have to be ready to grow with it both personally and professionally. One major lesson I learned along the way is to always keep my priorities in line. As a business owner, a wife, a mother, and a doctor, I have to take care of myself first! I cannot be any of those things let alone great at these things if I am not taking care of myself first. My mentor, Dr. Patrick Flynn, put it this way, “you can’t fill up others from an empty cup.”
No entrepreneur can have a great business without a great team. In 2017, my husband retired from the fire department for good and I brought him in to be my practice manager. He leads our office and fills all the gaps in the areas that I am not necessarily good at in the business. I have learned that you cannot be great at everything so you must surround yourself with those people that are great in areas that you are not.
We have a revolutionary approach to health.

We think differently here. We have a unique understanding of physiology and employ cutting edge diagnostics every step of the way. It’s how we achieve the best clinical results, and it’s important we share the thought process with you. Our clinic uses The Wellness Way approach to assess and treat your health care concerns. As a recognized Wellness Way affiliate, our holistic health center is driven to inform and educate the general public about the benefits and advantages of integrated healthcare and wellness. Perhaps you have experienced being examined by a doctor, having blood tests done, x-rays or other diagnostic tests taken, only for your doctor to report back that all your tests are normal. Yet you know that there is something wrong!

Unfortunately, this experience is all too common. Most physicians are trained to look only in specific places for the answers, using the same familiar labs or diagnostic tests. Yet, many causes of illness cannot be found in these places. The usual tests do not look for food allergies, hidden infections, environmental toxins, mold exposures, nutritional deficiencies and metabolic imbalances.
We use a variety of innovative testing techniques and procedures to help our patients prevent illness and recover from many chronic and difficult to treat conditions. Our clinicians are highly skilled in evaluating and assessing chronic problems such as fibromyalgia, fatigue syndromes, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, mood and behavior disorders, memory problems, heart disease, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, autism, and other chronic, complex conditions.
I see patients every day that dealing with allergies, autoimmune disorders, cholesterol issues, Crohn’s disease, diabetes, hormones, infertility, inflammation, leaky gut, low libido, mood disorders, pre & post menopause, neuropathy, thyroid disorders and more. We work to get to the root cause with these patients to help them regain their health so they can live their best life.
I have seen some very sick patients walk through my clinic door, and to be able to be the tour guide for them to regain their health fills my heart up. Numerous patients have come in after seeing countless specialists, and have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars with no solution. Those patients are what I specialize in because when they leave my office not only have they regained their health, they have gotten the answers they have waited for and they have taken their life back! For some this may mean not having to fear that their symptoms will return, for others it may be a pregnancy or possibly not having to spend the rest of their life on medication that makes them a zombie. We guide our patients along their health journey, but they put in the work. They leave our office knowing that their health is in their control.
